Pole Dancing

Newbie and Beginner

No experience necessary. Our Level 1 classes introduce you to the fundamentals of pole dance technique and is suitable for all fitness levels. Each class will include a warm up and strength building and conditioning exercises. You will be guided through movements around the pole that will prepare you for learning spins and climbs in no time! 

Prerequisites: None

What to wear: T-shirt or sleeveless top. Shorts that exposes the back of knees. No body lotion. No footwear required.

Beginner

So you’ve had a taste for pole dancing and want more? This is the class for you. Taking the fundamentals of Level 1, you will learn how to spin, twirl and perform various sits and poses on the pole.

Prerequisites: Have completed Level 1 or equivalent introductory classes

What to wear: T-shirt or sleeveless top. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.

Pre-Intermediate

Here we continue to build your repertoire of pole spins on both static and spinning pole, not to mention pole-to-floor and floorwork techniques so we can link our new pole grooves into graceful flows! As we get ready for intermediate pole, you will learn to climb the pole and take earlier pole sit moves to a new height. 

Prerequisites: Half Bracket Spins (ie. Fireman Spin, Front Hook Spin, Back Hook Spin), Pole Sit

What to wear: Sleeveless top. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.

Intermediate

It’s time to take things upside down! In these levels, we introduce various inversions including Gemini (aka. Outside Leg Hang) and Scorpio (aka. Inside Leg Hang) .  Meanwhile spins are cranked up a notch with reverse grabs, and the introduction of more challenging grips and aerial combos.

Prerequisites: Split Grip Spins (Half Bracket and Full Bracket), Pole Climb, Aerial Mounts and Sits (ie. Layout, Martini Glass)

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.

Inter-Advance

Now we’re talking! Unleash your inner pole monkey as we introduce awe-inspiring pole moves that will have all your friends talking. Learn all-time pole favorites including Butterfly, Superman, Jade Split and more.

Prerequisites: Inversion from the floor, Outside and Inside Leg Hangs, Aerial Mounts and Sits 

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.

Advance

Not for the faint-hearted. In our pre-Advanced levels, aerial combinations will become longer and new transitions are taught as you take on gravity-defying moves such as the Ayesha, Static V and Handsprings.  

Prerequisites: Aerial and floor Inversions, Outside and Inside Leg Hangs, Aerial Mounts and Sits, Butterfly, Caterpillar, Superman, Shoulder Mount from the floor

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.

Professional

You’ve done it. You’ve nailed that Static V, you’re now happily wrapping yourself in contorted positions while spinning, and wondering where else pole is going to take you. In this level you will learn advanced tricks and combinations that require all that strength and active flexibility with emphasis on seamless lines and transitions in dynamic and aerial combinations.  

Prerequisites: Aerial and floor inversions, Aerial Mounts and Sits, Straight Leg Shoulder Mount, experience with dynamic spins on static

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.


Exotic Pole Flow.jpg

Exotic Pole Flow

Emphasizing flawless heel glides, Exotic Pole Flow takes its movement from Russian Exotic and focuses on achieving deceptively effortless low flow and pole-to-floor transitions. Choreography will be taught in which students are encouraged to explore varying accents and tempo changes while discovering their most sexy, powerful side.

Suitable for all levels. This is not a trick class; previous pole experience is recommended.

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. Heels and knee pads are required.

Exotic Pole Dance

Let your hair down and strap on those heels! Focused on the sexier side of pole dancing, From head rolls, to body waves, spins, floorwork and much more, this class will teach you all the elements of feeling hot and sexy with confidence.

Suitable for all levels.

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. Knee pads are highly recommended. Heels will help bring the best out of the class but not required to attend.

Exotic Pole Tricks

In this specialized class, we focus on low pole tricks and transitions often used in exotic pole dance choreography including handstands, kips, spins, shoulder rolls and more. Breaking down the techniques, the class will give you the skills and confidence to execute these tricks safely when they are introduced in our Exotic Pole Flow choreography classes.

Ideal complement for anyone doing Exotic Pole Flow or Exotic Pole Dance. This is a tricks class. No choreography will be taught.

Suitable for all levels. The instructor will advance and progress you accordingly.

What to wear: T-shirt or sleeveless top. Shorts that exposes the back of knees. No body lotion. Top covering arms and shoulders and extra leggings are optional as some moves do not require body contact with the pole. Knee pads recommended. Heels are optional.


Lyrical Pole

In Lyrical pole, the focus is on using pole as a tool, incorporating dance techniques, to express the meaning of lyrics through movements and musicality.

Suitable for Level 2 and up. This is not a trick class; previous pole experience is recommended.

What to wear: Sleeveless top that exposes the armpit and waist. Shorts that exposes the back of knees and tops of thighs. No body lotion. No footwear required.
