Here at Aerial Arts Academy, we are excited to announce a revamped syllabus for our pole and aerial classes commencing February 2019! We understand changes can be confusing so below we have attempted to answer some possible questions.
We want to thank you for your continual support and for letting us be part of your Aerial and Pole journey!
Why did we do it?
We would like to ensure as a team we are bringing you quality structured learning (and loads of fun!) so we have been working hard over the last few months to revise and consolidate our studio syllabus. By changing to a levelling system, we are able to ensure our classes reflect and deliver what you can expect to learn when you book in a class and bring you the best experience possible.
How does it work?
It’s very simple! We simply changed the the terms “Introductory” “Beginner” “Intermediate” and “Advance” into corresponding numbers. For Aerial Silks and Aerial Hoop we go from Level 1 through to Level 7, while for Pole we have Level 1 through to Level 10.
What does it mean for you?
For students new to the studio, class descriptions will always indicate if a class is suitable for Introductory and Beginner levels making it easier to choose your next class with us. You can also contact our friendly front desk staff or speak to any of our experienced instructors will be able to guide you to find the most suitable classes for you.
For current students, don’t worry! There are no exams to move between levels! Speak to your instructor at your next class and they will be able to answer any questions you may have. In most classes, your regular classes will not be affected. If there are any concerns please feel free to contact front desk or your instructor.
