HOOP
Hoop, also known as cerceau or lyra, is a wonderful circus apparatus in which the student learn beautiful movements and shapes while spinning on a large metal hoop suspended in the air. The session concentrates on activating core muscles for balance and stability, as well as improving coordination and flexibility. Be prepared to flex and tone with Hong Kongs first and only hoop workout, known to burn up to 500 calories per session.
Beginners start off learning the basics of spinning and the basic ways to get up and down onto the hoop. Once comfortable with this, they will progress on to harder and more advanced moves. The advanced students are taught performance skill and technique.

What you get
This course teaches you how to work with your on body height, shape and weight in the air. Its great for toning up the Gluteals (bums), Abdominals (tummy), back and arms. We will focus a lot on improving your motor skills such as balance, coordination and flexibility through the legs and back by teaching you arches and splits. Eventually you will be able to dance as though you are floating in the air!
What to wear
Clothing - Any comfortable clothing which fits close to the skin and is non restrictive to your movements in recommended. Long sleeved tops, long bottoms is a must. Shoes - Bare feet are recommended.
